Archer is an animated comedy series created by Adam Reed for the FX network. At ISIS, an international spy agency, global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other. The first season premiered on Thursday January 14, 2010, the show carries a TV-MA rating. Each Episode runs for half an hour.
The inspiration behind Archer came to Reed while in a cafe in Salamanca, Spain. Finding himself unable to approach a beautiful woman seated nearby, Reed conjured up the idea of a spy who “would have a perfect line”. Reed conceived the show’s concept while walking along the Via de la Plata in 2008. Being a longtime “rabid fan” of FX Network and its original programming, he pitched his idea to the network, who accepted it and ordered six, along with an additional four scripts. The show has been renewed for a second season.

yhis is such a great refreshing show and I can’t wait for the second season.
I’m also very fond of it…but refreshing ? at times i find it hard to keep up with the dialogues between Archer and the other members of ISIS

yes but sometimes you know it’s funny without even understanding the whole dialogue, not in a stupid way. with such well made shows like this you learn to understand the joke and apreciate it not always knowing what they’re on about. and besides, you can always rewind and listen again. in fact I watched all the episodes twice
and also, did you notice the Dacia in the first three episodes?
Not only theres a 1978 Dacia, but in the first episode the russian KGB spy actually mentions that if he betrays ISIS and brings Ducess in, he’s gonna get his own Dacia =))
Although im swamped with work… basically trying to keep this site working (and updated ! )
) i must confess that i did the exact thing (watched archer twice…all 10 episodes 
) and to add insult to injury i think 105, honey-pot like 4 times 
i just couldn’t help it =)) … must be the “got dick ?” t-shit
